Wintec Industries publishes reference material on window performance and the building envelope, written for Canadian conditions. The material here is organised around a single idea: that a window's rated performance and its installed performance are two different things, and that most disappointing outcomes live in the gap between them.
What this site is not
It does not sell windows, install them, or represent a manufacturer. There is no product line here and nothing to quote. Where a specific standard, threshold or program is relevant, this site points at the organisation that maintains it rather than restating a number that will be revised — that includes Natural Resources Canada, the National Research Council, CSA Group and CMHC.
How the material is organised

Accuracy and corrections
Standards change, program thresholds are revised, and code editions supersede one another. Nothing here should be treated as a substitute for the current edition of the code that applies at a specific address, or for advice from a qualified building professional who has seen the building in question. Where this site states a figure that is set elsewhere, it says so and links to the source.
